A Brief Introduction of Jinlong Group Yingkou Jinlong Refractories Group is located in Dashiqiao City, which is justly famed as the Magnesite Capital of China. The Group is an integrated and large-sized enterprise involved in R&D, production and trade of a wide range of refractory products. The Group has three Sino-foreign joint venture companies and six wholly owned subsidiaries. Equipped with 76 presses and relevant auxiliary facilities, the Group turns out a wide range of refractory products, producing various unfired bricks 200,000 tons, fired bricks 160,000 tons, unshaped refractories 40,000 tons, light-burnt MgO pellet or Carbon pellet 40,000tons (the products are applied in the slag splashing process for converters to prolong lining life), graphite electrode 20,000tons, and electro-fused MgO 80,000tons, per year. The Group has a strong technical force, possessing complete testing and research equipment and facilities, employing more than 20 senior engineers specialized in the field of refractories, steel making and other relevant fields. The Group has been appointed as the Provincial Enterprise Technological Center and the Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center.

The Group is the first one to obtain the certificate of ISO9001 International Quality System and ISO14001 Environmental Management System in refractory industry. In addition, the Group has also passed the OHSAS18001 Occupational Health and Safety Assessment. In 2006, the Group was awarded the title of “National Environmentally Friendly Enterprise” by the Ministry of Environment Protection, the only honor ever given in the refractory industry. The Steel Friend” brand products have been honored as the “National Quality Examination Exempt Products” by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
